Ozone Therapy is a medical therapy that has been used worldwide for over 50 years with dramatic success and safety. In North America Ozone Therapy has not yet been fully recognized by the medical authorities, however if you review the ever growing list of Ozone Doctors at www.oxygenhealingtherapies.com you will see that it is being adopted more and more by formally 'traditional' medical practitioners. It is clear that Ozone Therapy works, and it is becoming one of the most useful tools in medical clinics across America and around the World. (See "A Review of Ozone Therapy” to learn how ozone is being administered). If you are completely new to Ozone and are wondering what all the fuss is about, read the new section Ozone Therapy Basics at www.oxygenhealingtherapies.com.
WHAT IS OZONE THERAPY?
Some researchers believe that ozone has therapeutic effects and the therapy has been studied and used for over 150 years. A layer of ozone is found in the earth's stratosphere. Its primary purpose is to protect the earth from the sun's ultraviolet radiation, most of which it absorbs.
In medicine, ozone therapy is used to disinfect and treat conditions by disinfecting the area around them, improving the body's intake and use of oxygen, and activating the immune system. Using a gas as a medical treatment is unusual, so there are special techniques that are employed. Ozone can also be toxic when inhaled.
USES
Ozone therapy has been found to be useful in several ways in medicine. When it was first used more than 150 years ago, it was to disinfect and treat diseases. During the First World War, its application to wounds showed not only its ability to disinfect but also to aid blood flow and produce anti-inflammatory effects. Later, it was found to
be a useful treatment for people with HIV before pharmaceutical medication was available.
What are the potential benefits of Ozone Therapies?
Ozone is anti-aging and increases the oxygenation of your cells. This can be useful since cancer and disease grow in poorly oxygenated tissues in your body.*Improves blood flow that has been slowed from chronic inflammation and swelling.*Modulates the immune system - If the immune system is overactive, it will have a calming effect. If it is underactive, it will stimulate the immune system.*Kills viruses, bacteria, mold and fungus.*Stimulates the mitochondria (the powerhouses of the cells) to help increase energy.*Stimulates the production of white blood cells*Stimulates increased levels of Interferon*Stimulates the production of tumor necrosis factor*Is antineoplastic*Makes red blood cells more elastic and flexible. It also reduces the level of acidity in your body.

This method is able to administer larger amounts of ozone. It uses a pump and vacuum to remove and re-administer blood from your body via IV and infuse it with ozone. This is done up to 10 times depending on patient tolerance, referred to as "10 passes". This is the strongest and most effective ozone treatment and is useful for preventative and anti-aging by mobilizing stem cells from bone marrow and your immune system. Used to treat acute and chronic infections including bacterial infections, viral infections such as herpes, shingles, Lyme, HIV. Also used for autoimmune diseases such as fibromyalgia, Rheumatioid Arthritis, inflammation, MS, cancer and more.

Prolozone Therapy is an ozone based non-surgical procedure to eliminate or drastically reduce pain by facilitating the body’s own natural ability to heal itself. Prolozone derived from the Latin word “prolix”, which means to proliferate, regenerate and rebuild. Ligaments are the structural “rubber bands” that hold the bones, joints and intervertebral discs together. They can become weak or injured from injury, excessive use or surgery, and often times do not heal back to their original strength and tightness. The strain on the area that the ligaments are supposed to be holding together result in pain and arthritis in the bones, discs and joints and nerves.
Prolozone therapy is probably the most effective treatment we’ve found for painful areas or joints. A local anesthetic may be injected first and then the ozone. The oxygen in the ozone creates the energy needed for cells to regenerate and repair and improves circulation. Ozone has been found to significantly attenuate inflammation and toxic molecules associated with arthritis and tissue damage. Pain relief often can be immediate and often is long-lasting,
even when the local anesthetic wears off.
What can Prolozone Therapy treat:
Back and neck pain – with or without degenerative disc disease
Shoulder pain from rotator cuff injuries
Osteoarthritis – hips, knees and spine
Arthritic joints
Tennis Elbow
Sports injuries
Carpal Tunnel
Plantar Fasciitis
Sprains and strains

Major Autohemotherapy (MAH) is an ozone based therapy that requires about 1/2 pint of blood to be withdrawn from your vein into an IV bag or evacuated bottle, then medical ozone is infused into the bag, creating a super oxygenated blood. After your blood and ozone are mixed together in the bag, the mixture will be dripped back into your vein.
Who should NOT get MAH?
Those with a rare condition called Glucose-6-phosphate dehydrogenase deficiency (favism, acute hemolytic anemia).
Those with Hyperthyroidism, if it is not controlled
Those who are pregnant
Those who have leukemia

UV Light therapy or UVBI is similar to Major Autohemotherapy except before the patients blood is returned to the patient, it is exposed to UV light. Positive effects that may be experienced are:
Improved circulation and oxygenation of tissues
Anti-inflammatory effects
Stimulation of the Immune System
Increased Tolerance of the body to Chemotherapy and Radiation
Cardiovascular protection
Powerful Anit-Infection Properties
UV light can be used to treat:
Viral and bacterial infections
Chronic Fatigue
Auto-immune diseases

Chelation therapy is an IV treatment using a solution containing vitamins, minerals and a special amino acid called EDTA that selectively binds to metals such as lead, mercury, cadmium, and arsenic in your body. It has a strong attraction for these metals which it encircles and escorts out of the body in the urine. Besides heavy metal toxicity, it is also a highly effective therapy used to treat angina, coronary artery disease, atherosclerosis, and hypertension. Chelation causes the mobilization of the calcium deposits that occur on the arteries as we get older. So it is also used to reverse the effects of hardening of the arteries leading to heart attacks and strokes. You can learn a lot about chelation therapy at www.acam.org and chezone therapy at www.antiagingmedicine.com .
Chezone Therapy, an innovation by Dr. Frank Shallenberger, has proven to greatly enhance the already well documented efficacy of chelation therapy. Chelation therapy improves circulation, enabling more oxygen to reach the cells. Ozone therapy enables the cells to use the oxygen that is being delivered with a much higher level of efficiency. These two modalities are truly synergistic, and the results of either are greatly increased when they are administered together. For this reason,
in most clinical situations, we prefer
CheZone treatments over chelation therapy alone.
All people above the age of 60 should have a routine course of chelation therapy as part of a general revitalization program. It is also used to treat patients who already have coronary artery disease, arteriosclerosis, or hypertension.

High Dose IV Vitamin C (IVC)
IVC is one of the best antiviral agents available, with the ability to neutralize and eliminate a wide range of toxins. Vitamin C will enhance host resistance, greatly augmenting the immune system’s ability to neutralize bacterial and fungal infections.
According to this article by the Riordian clinic, cancer patients that receive IV Vitamin C report a reduction in their pain level and they are better able to tolerate chemotherapy. Intravenous Vitamin C is
complementary to oncologic care, so patients may continue their
conventional cancer therapies if they choose to.
IV Vitamin C Therapy Benefits and positive effects:
Lessens pain after injuries
Helps the body heal faster
Improves energy levels/fatigue, bleeding
Immune-modulation (enhance or calm down)
Support white blood cells (they have 10-30 x higher levels than blood)
Stimulation of collagen formation
Anti-inflammatory
Anti-stress and Anti-depressant properties
Resiliency to infections like colds/flu or other viral/bacterial infections
In cancer patients, IVC is known to improve the response to cancer therapies because it alleviates the effects of traditional therapies, improves appetite and helps patients remain more active
What conditions can IV Vitamin C therapy be used for:
Arthritis
Lyme Disease
Bacterial infections
Viral infections
Pain after injury
